Erica MacDonald is a Contemporary Nature Artist & Surface Pattern Designer. After a career in healthcare, Erica became fascinated by the way color, nature, and nostalgia support our well-being.

ABOUT THE WORK

My creative process usually begins outdoors, photographing the landscape. I am drawn to nature's patterns, changing colors, and textures. In the studio, these photos serve as more than references. They are memories that inspire my watercolor, ink, and acrylic paintings.

As our world becomes increasingly disconnected, my work has shifted toward a nature and wellness-driven approach. The goal of my art is to bring a sense of comfort, belonging, and peace to the viewer.
