Based in Tennessee, Erica MacDonald is a fine art painter and pattern designer. After a career in healthcare, Erica became fascinated by the way color, nature, and nostalgia support our well-being.

ABOUT THE WORK

My creative process usually begins outdoors, photographing the landscape. I am drawn to nature's patterns, changing colors, and textures. In the studio, these photos serve as more than references. They are memories that inspire my watercolor, ink, and acrylic paintings.

As our world becomes increasingly disconnected, my work has shifted toward a wellness-driven approach. The goal of my art is to bring a sense of comfort, belonging, and peace to the viewer.

Along with original paintings, I turn my hand-painted designs into patterns for wallpaper and textiles. My 2026 collections are focused on creating fine art paintings and designs for products. If you have any questions, please reach out.
